Youth Entrepreneurship and Skill Development

Youth Entrepreneurship and Skill Development

It was a great experience to take a session on Youth Entrepreneurship and Skill Development of different First Grade colleges from Dharwad District on 02.03.2026. This is a programme organized by Government Youth Hostel, Mysuru. This lecture is a part of the Inter-District Youth Exchange Programme (IDYEP).

IDYEP is a Government of India Programme to promote National Integration, Cultural Exchange, Leadership Development, Social Awareness and Experiential Learning among Youth. The programme provides platform for youth to know the socio-cultural diversity of different districts, share best practices, develop life skills, and engage a meaningful deliberations on nation-building priorities. It also includes interactive sessions,  exposure visits, group activities and thematic discussions emphasizing on entrepreneurship, constitutional values, gender awareness, and skill development.

Case Study presentation on “Zepto Business Model” was totally exciting as the participants had a keen observation on the case study. Discussions on both the central government and state government schemes on skill training, entrepreneurship and livelihood gave good inputs to the students. I hope the students from Dharwad district will benefit from this session.
